to the Outpost, a unique Hawaiian laboratory designed to inspire K-12
students, educators and members of the public. The Outpost was created
after 25 years of sharing the pure joy and excitement of weightless free
fall.
The
parachute is a simple, innovative piece of equipment that can be
understood and enjoyed by students of all ages. With this basic invention,
it is possible for us to connect the past, present and future of flight
and exploration.
This
device was born through human curiosity; it has been harnessed by safety,
and is continuing to help expand our knowledge of the universe.

experimentation and evaluation. With a focus on health, science, and the
natural environment, our goal is to accelerate creativity and stimulate
the imagination of future generations.
