Tandem skydiving is unquestionably the safest way to experience skydiving for the first time. After a few minutes of instruction, you can enjoy the exhilerating freefall with an instructor before deploying the larger parachute and enjoying the breathtaking views as you gently descend to earth together.
Our staff are largely independent contractors and USPA licensed, professional Tandem Instructors. Tandem skydiving is restricted to those eighteen years and older, and not weighing more than 240 pounds. For those weighing over 200 pounds but less than 240 pounds, an additional $2.00 per pound is charged, and your Tandem Instructor must approve each sky diver weighing over 200 pounds. All tandem jumpers must sign our liability release / liability waiver form.
Shuttle vans stop at Waikiki hotels (also UH, Aloha Tower, Honolulu International Airport and Pearl Harbor Nimitz Gate) three times per day and return approximately 6 hours later. For those who are making tandem jumps, the shuttle is included at no additional charge. Shuttles are available at the following times:
- 7:00 AM
- 10:00 AM
- 1:00 PM
Shuttle stops at UH - Burns Hall, Aloha Tower, Airport and Pearl Harbor Nimitz Gate are at 30 minutes after.
If you have your own vehicle and have paid the reservation deposit, plan on spending about two hours at our Dillingham Airfield facilities. Walk ups, same day reservations, weekends and busy days could take up to half a day. Offers, coupons or other discounts may not be combined with the discounts from this site.
Target altitude for our regular tandem exit is 10,000'-14,000'.

14,000' to 15,000' is $175 per person with on-line reservations - just make a reservation and after you arrive at Skydive Hawaii let our cashier know you want to 14,000' to 15,000'. When you turn in your liability release is a good time to let the cashier know. Retail price is $250 per person.
Highest tandem skydive
in Hawaii to 20,000' is $998 per person.
You will be required to use supplimental oxygen during part of the flight to reach this altitude. Advance notice of 96 hours (4 days) and $250 per person deposit required. Each of these 20,000' tandem flights are limited to two tandem jumpers per flight.
Price includes photos and DVD. Plan to arrive at 7:00AM, no shuttle available.
WARNING: Temperature at 20,000' can be -25 degrees. Layered clothing is recommended, as freefall will add a windchill at 120mph. Men must be clean-shaven so that oxygen masks will fit snugly. It could be very cold for up to 20 minutes.

Walk ins are welcome everyday at Skydive Hawaii. The afternoons are generally less busy than mornings.

Safety First:

While each person's reason for skydiving may differ, the general feeling on landing is euphoric, having just had more fun and excitement than is generally experienced in a month of Sundays. As Hawaii's oldest and largest sky diving center, Skydive Hawaii is known for having the best instructors. We also make more daily tandem jumps and have been able to offer you that pristine North Shore view at the World's Most Beautiful Skydiving Center!
For liability reasons, tandem customers are not allowed to bring their personal camera(s) on their skydive.
Photos are $100 with an automatic discount to $75 with on-line reservations!
DVDs are $150 and both DVD and photos together are $210.
The tandem passenger will enjoy the great views of the North Shore during the fifteen minutes flight up to jump altitude. When the plane reaches jump altitude, your USPA Tandem Instructor will secure you to their gear. Together you will exit the aircraft and reach speeds of 120mph, without worrying about getting a ticket for speeding! Your freefall will be thrilling; remember to keep your eyes open!

The sensation of freefalling is not so much one of falling, but more like flying. When you exit the plane, the North Shore of Oahu is below you. On a clear day it is possible to see the other Hawaiian Islands in freefall. After the canopy opens you will still be able to see much of Oahu.

Many times Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, Kaena Point and the leeward coast are in plain view. You will also be able to see majestic bluffs, valleys, beautiful beaches, whales and other marine life from your canopy. Tandem jumping provides an obvious advantage for the adventurous spirit who cannot adequately meet the physical or proficiency requirements for the Freefall School jumps. By relying on the USPA Tandem Instructor's skill, they will still be able to experience the thrill of skydiving. Your friends can watch you smile, hoot and holler from our viewing area.

Refund Policies:
All Purchases: If this order was a mistake, you have 12 hours to email our office at onlinesupport@SkydiveHawaii.com to request a full refund for all online purchases, after 12 hours refund policies vary by service. Refunds requested after 12 hours from purchase may take up to 7 business days to process.
Tandem Skydiving Reservations: Full refunds may be issued up until 48 hours before your reservation. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. You MUST cancel 48 hours in advance or show up and jump at our facility on the day of your reservation to avoid loosing your $50 deposit. Any fees in excess of $50 collected for services will remain on your account for up to one year.
Limited availability Items: Events such as classes are refundable only at management’s discretion.
Merchandise: Unused merchandise is refundable for up to 15 days.
Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates are refundable for up to 30 days with a service charge of $5 or 3% (whichever is higher). Gift Certificates are redeemable for 2 years after the issue date.
Rain Dates: If you show up and weather or other conditions do not permit skydiving on the date and time you have selected in your reservation, you may reschedule your reservation with our staff on-site to another date and time within one year without penalty.
