We sure enjoyed 2010 and look forward to 2011 as the year of the sport skydiver. Pofolk Aviation Hawaii has acquired another Cessna Caravan with the goal of providing more lift space for sport skydivers on the weekends. Let us know how we can better serve your group of free flyers, wing suit flyers of belly flyers. We want to get you in the air this year. If you have a group of people to come out for a week of skydiving or make a tandem skydive, please let us know.
Tom Deacon recently completed another AFF-I certification course at Skydive Hawaii. Congratulations to Andy Ross, Nicole Elliot and Joseph Turner, all Skydive Hawaii contractors adding to their ability to be of service. Bryan McCormack, Carson Klein, Elio Esqueda, Scott Freeland and Zach Mullins are some of the new faces on our contractor staff.
Oil prices, new parachute gear and everything about aviation continue to want to climb higher. We would like to be able to keep our sport skydive price and tandem skydive price at their present levels.
Our staff did another wonderful job at the Sony Open this year. Poppa Dop took David Marr III or the Golf Channel for a tandem skydive with JC and TK taking video. Look for some footage of that coming up on the Golf Channel. Jake Kilfoyle and Farmer flew in the Hawaiian and American flag representations and Nicole Elliot, Gage Galle, Bud Andress, and Col John Bates rounded out the demo crew. Maggie Hinshaw helped out on ground crew. Thank you to everyone for making this another great opportunity to present our sport to our community in a positive light.
